How to Prepare for your Photo Session

CLOTHING

• Choose something you love and feel most comfortable in. Showcase your style and personality. For Headshot and Senior sessions, please feel free to bring a few outfits.
• Be sure to try on your outfits before the shoot. Everything should fit well and please make sure to hang up or iron clothes the day before. Make sure to have the proper undergarments so that none of them become a distraction in the photos.
• Keep in mind that the camera doesn't like thin stripes or tiny prints. They often look pixelated. If one of your outfits does have a pattern, I recommend that the other one is a solid color piece.

ACCESSORIES AND MISC

• Accessories can add some personality and a pop of color to your photos. Bold necklaces or a cute hat are some great pieces that can showcase your style.
• For Senior sessions, feel free to bring a special interest item that represents you. Examples include footballs, volleyballs, band instruments, or favorite books. We can find a fun way to incorporate it into your shoot.
• Be sure to have a fresh polish or manicure...chipped nails will be a distraction. Don't try a new hairstyle for our session and don't freak out if you have a blemish pop up...I can easily retouch those.
